I ordered this Lhyzdq Personalized Cute Medicine Bag with Zipper for Women and Girls - Embroidered Alphabet - medicine bag for summer getaway weekend travel.I live in NYC, but my family spends a lot of summer weekends and most of August in the CT countryside, to escape the summer heat and chaos in the city. (Those jokes about everyone fleeing NYC in August when all the shrinks go on vacation have a grain of truth to them… the city gets hectic as the summer heats up.)By now we’ve gotten the weekend trips down to a well-honed habit, but I wanted a smaller sized medicine bag to carry my medication. Ideally, I wanted something small enough to slip in my purse, but large enough to hold enough meds for the weekend, plus a bit extra in case we stay another day or two one weekend.I thought the bright pink color and the large rainbow RX were a cute design, so I ordered this bag.The bag I received measures about 5 1/4” x 5”, not the 6.7” x 5.5” listed on the sales page. (The sales photo shows these measurements; but the write up on the sales page says this measures 5” x 4.5”. Maybe the photos were an earlier version of the bag?)This was a bit disappointing, as I can’t get a larger (like a 90-day supply) bottle into the med bag. However, regular size and small bottles fit nicely.The case is made of a strong nylon-type material. The zipper is especially sturdy and strong, this is a nice touch. The zipper also has a small, round gold charm on it, this is easy to hold and pull. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so tiny zipper pulls are difficult for me to use. This zipper is large and pulls easily, very durable and comfortable to use.The rainbow RX patches are outlined in white and sewn onto the front of the pouch. The letters are about 3” high.The bright pink color makes this easy to find, even in a full suitcase or tote. Be aware, this is not a childproof case, so keep it out of the reach of children if it is filled with medications.This is also a good size for carrying insulin and pump supplies. (I’m also a type 1 diabetic.) There’s enough room for a small cold pack to travel with insulin vials. It is not large enough for most insulin or medication pens, at about 5” square, but is fine for insulin vials or bottles of medication.Cute design, bright color, sturdy construction, and inexpensive at its current price ($9.99). I’m very pleased with this medicine bag.
