After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned. Pleasantly surprised when I received them. There was absolutely no “ funny odor “ The brown color is much prettier than the pictures. A true medium burnt sierra tan color, not as orange as the pictures look. Very nice set for the price. Accurate to the sizes listed, works perfectly for what I needed. So many reviews said “too small” but each piece is accurate to what is listed. Very glad I took a chance and ordered it.I use these sets to organize the interior of my laptop bags and totes. I have several designs; to coordinate with the color of my totes. They fit my needs perfectly. The black fireworks design has somewhat of a glittery sheen and texture to it. Quite unexpected, but cute. Can be easily cleaned.Love these bags. They are a lot thicker material than I expected. I received them little over a week ago, and have been using them ever since. So far the only downfall I've noticed so far is the bright colorful butterflies are losing there colors. Not sure what kinda paint is used. But it's not permanent base that's for sure. Kinda disappointed especially with how the bags themselves are made with such good quality and durable the materials seems to be. These bags also come in White background with butterflies., So glad I decided not to get them.
