In person, the purple looks exactly like the picture on the listing, but my phone had a hard time capturing the true color. The product photos you're seeing in the listing are accurate as far as the Lilac color is concerned. I love the style of the Stoney Clover bags, but cannot imagine spending $100+ on a personalized nylon bag, so I decided to DIY it with some 2.17 inch press-on letters I found on Amazon. I plan to use this as an organizational pouch for my daughter's diaper bag (but it would also work great in a travel bag). I was able to fit a swaddle and 2 newborn outfits in it with room to spare.I know it's marketed as a makeup bag, but I would be hesitant to put makeup in it for travel because it's not lined with any kind of "easy wipe" clear vinyl and I've been burned too many times by loose powders and liquid makeup leaks staining fabric/cloth pouches. That's just my personal choice though, so if you have better luck than me (or don't mind the inside of your bag potentially having some makeup marks in it), I know this would fit plenty. I loaded it up with a handful of makeup/hair items just to show you how much it can hold. As you can see, I could add more stuff if I wanted and the inside visibility is surprisingly pretty good (I hate it when bags barely open and you're left emptying everything out just to find that one thing you're looking for).Love the color and durability of this bagLoved itLove it! bought it in multiple colors.
